A huge thank you to those of you who have been doing Facebook fundraisers for us since we were approved. We received our first check on Friday from Network for Good, which, if I understand it, was only from August 5, which I believe was one of our first days of eligibility.
Thanks to you, we raised $464 that day.
What can we do with $464? I’m glad you asked!
We can (any one of the following items):
- TNR and rabies vaccinate 3 female cats with Dr. Amy
- TNR and rabies vaccinate 6 male cats with Dr. Amy
- Spay/neuter and vaccinate 4 dogs and 1 cat at ABC in Waco
- Transport 27 animals to Emancipet in Pflugerville
- Purchase supplies for the shelters for a couple of months
- Purchase 200 microchips to implant into county dogs to help them find their way home if they get lost
These are some of the examples of what we’re doing with your money when you support us. (Microchipping is something new that we haven’t started doing yet, but stay tuned.)
