Milam Touch of Love is pleased to announce our next snip/chip clinic is on May 28th in Thorndale. This event is open to all Milam County Residents for their dogs or cats. Please note that the Snip & Chip setup is unsuitable for older dogs and cats (over 8 years of age) or dogs/cats with certain medical conditions. Because of this, we may not be able to schedule your pet for snip and chip, but we will recommend having the procedure performed in Dr. Brinlee’s office where it will be safer for them. For $130 ($80 for male cats) the following services will be performed:
* Spay or neuter (with injected pain medication & antibiotics)
* Rabies shot with certificate and tag
* Microchip with free registration and transfer
* CBC bloodwork
* Heartworm test (for dogs over 6 months of age)
Other services are available for an additional charge.
Special Notes: For residents INSIDE the city limits of Milano: Your dogs and cats will be spayed or neutered free of charge. We’ll check your address and should already know this, but if we miss it, please ask. This includes the basic spay/neuter package as well as wellness items. Additional services will be at your own expense.
Will payments be taken on the day of the event we register for? Or is there an online option to pay?

You’re commenting on the registration post where the registration form was before our slots filled on Sunday night and we removed the form. We’re serious when we tell you to get here early on the day registration opens if you want a slot.

August 27th in Milano. Registration opens on the 16th of August.
Been trying to get my male dog in for Snip but it is full as soon as I get the notice. How can I get my dog on the list to get snipped?
We don’t keep a list, but here’s what you need to do. Go to milamtouchoflove.org, check our snip and chip schedule (if you’re on a phone, you’ll need to scroll sideways to see the full schedule), note the registration date for the event you want, return to the site at 6 am on that date and register your dog. Check the program information page for details about Snip and Chip.
