September 10, 2025, at the Milano Community Center across from the Post Office.
We now have two options on Barn Cat Day — the traditional Barn Cat pricing at $55 per cat
For Barn Cat pricing — $55 for each cat, you get the following:
Spay/neuter (injected pain medication and antibiotics)
Rabies vaccination (no certificate or tag)
Ear Tip (required)
Please note: You will have no proof of rabies vaccination, and Dr. Brinlee will have no individual record of your cat being treated. This is important for legal considerations. But if you have a barn, stray, or feral cat you are feeding, this is the program to prevent reproduction and protect the cat from rabies.
The minimum age and weight are 8 weeks and 2 lbs. (12 weeks is ideal, because they are old enough for their rabies shot)
For Porch Cat pricing — $70 for each cat, you get the following:
Spay/neuter (injected pain medication and antibiotics)
Rabies vaccination (certificate and tag)
Ear Tip (required)
Microchip with registration and transfer
Please complete the form below to register. Complete one form for each cat. Please don’t register more than four.
Special Notes:
For residents inside the city limits of Milano: Your cats will be spayed or neutered free of charge. We’ll check your address and should already know this, but if we miss it, please ask. If you live on a county road, you are not inside city limits. If you live outside of city limits, you are not inside city limits.

I registered these 2 cats for the wrong clinic so hope I can get them in now
Thank you
I’d like to register 4 cats for barn cat day..
Complete a registration form for each one.
Where is the registration form for each cat? Thank you
Registration is closed. You won’t find the form.
I emailed you. Please respond to the email.
Got it. I emailed answers back to you. Greatly appreciate you!
Please let me know if you have any cancelations. Thank you
Nicole, you would likely do better to plan to register early in the day when next month’s registration opens. We plan for attrition when we open registration for barn cat day, because we know some kitties seem to know what’s about to happen and disappear.
Hello Jean, I found this information over the phone with Google not Facebook im told to register them last Saturday at 6am. Now it’s closed. This is deaf friend of animal control who spoke with you on my behalf. I’ve been trying to get these cats spay and neuter since last April after the mama had kittens then weaned before I
can let them go running loose since 5 cats aren’t mine. There is a good chance that the mama cat is pregnant again per vet. Her daughter is weaned but think she’s pregnant. I’ve contacted Waco, Fort Worth animal shelters, I’m told they don’t service out of county pet owners. Didn’t know that Milam County does the spay and neuter service until veterinarian told me about this touch of love, but they do spay and neuter service monthly but it was never posted on Facebook. These barn or feral cats need fixed ASAP. Please let me know via email. Thank you.
We don’t post on Facebook. We gave you the website to register via both Dr Valeri and Sandra, but I guess it didn’t get copied down for you. Registration fills fast, but it was open until evening last Saturday.
How many cats do you need to get in? I’ll see what I can do.
