We became an entity on May 3, 2019. We are working intently to get ourselves up and running to serve the animals and their people in Milam County, Texas.
Our first order of business will be the election of officers and establishing a bank account. Then we’ll be hanging out at the Cameron Fun Fest and BBQ Shootout on Saturday, May 11, 2019. Our goal there is to educate attendees about our existence as well as the services offered by the City of Cameron Animal Control Officer. We’ll be offering membership applications as well as information about our organization and the dogs up for adoption in Cameron’s Pound.
In the near future, we’ll be taking over responsibility for the City of Cameron Touch of Love Facebook Group and rebranding it as Milam Touch of Love.
