First, Petey has been neutered and brought up to date on his shots, but he’s still looking for his forever home.

The Cameron Pound has a few more pups looking for their forever homes, so check the Milam Touch of Love group on Facebook or head over to the Cameron Pound on 1200 E. Gillis Ave on Monday – Friday from 8 am – 5 pm. The pups love to have visitors even if you don’t take them home. Petey will show you his toys. MayBelley will swim in her pool. We have Amazon Wish Lists for the Cameron Pound and for Kitten Fosters.  We don’t have immediate pressing needs (but that can change), but if you want to help, these Wish Lists show you a couple ways you can.

We have a spay session scheduled for one of our dogs adopted from the Cameron Pound this week. Our goal is to have every dog adopted from the Pound spayed or neutered and current on shots.  We’re a little ways from being able to do that, but we are starting to work toward that end.

We added a few more members, and we’re thankful to have a few more donors. Thank you. Your donations of time, money, and materials help us achieve great things one life at a time. We have been getting some good response from our visit to The Ranch in Rockdale.

We’re beginning to look into starting some basic Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) in Cameron. We know the problem is large, but we’re going to be starting small and, again, begin working one life at a time. One reason we start small is to get our processes in place so we can be as effective as possible.
