So far, Minvera Snip and Chip is still on for Friday, April 10, 2020 (Good Friday) at the Minerva Volunteer Fire Department building, 358 County Road 232 Loop, Rockdale, TX 76567. We are developing appropriate precautions in conjunction with Dr. Brinlee to insure everyone participating whether you’re dropping off, picking up, volunteering or working is as protected as possible. The following is close to what you should be able to expect:

If you have a reservation for that day, please understand this and wait in your vehicle when dropping off until one of us brings you the paperwork. The paperwork will have a list of services in addition to the snipping and chipping scheduled in case you need those services.  (If you have an appointment, your $40 low cost covers spay/neuter, rabies shot, and microchip.) We will need payment at drop off, please. $40 in cash or check. We do not yet have a way to process credit cards. I understand a couple of pups have reservations just for vaccinations, and that’s great, too. If you live in the Minerva, TX, area and only need vaccinations, please message Crystal Denman to arrange for this.

Once paperwork and payment are complete, we will take your dog or cat inside. Please have them on a leash or in a carrier.  When you arrive for pickup, we’ll bring your animal(s) out to your vehicle. We’ll have a number you can text to notify us of your arrival.

The details may be a little different, but that’s the gist of what you can expect. We are committed to serving your community on this day in the safest way we can devise.

  1. We have a 6 month old female brindle pup that need spade. Can we make a reservation?

    1. I’m so sorry I missed this question, but I’m thankful you persisted and were able to contact Crystal and get things set up for us to be able to get you included.
