Giving Tuesday has become a tradition in recent years. This is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, and provides an opportunity to be kind and generous — either financially or through gives of time or service. We accept donations throughout the year, but we try to limit our major requests to just a few times a year.  One of those times is Giving Tuesday.

If you’re here on the site, you most likely already know our primary focus is making low-cost spay and neuter services available to Milam County residents. We also ensure all the dogs at the Cameron Shelter get their vaccinations and deworming as well as spay and neuter and heartworm test prior to adoption. Through your generosity, every Milam County citizen can get their dog or cat spayed or neutered. We ask people to pay what they can in our payment tier, but if someone truly cannot afford to pay, we will find a way to get their animal taken spayed or neutered.

We are always looking for volunteers, but our greatest need is for people interested in working with us in our Trap, Neuter, Return  and Barn Cat programs. We have one humane trapper for Milam County and thousands of cats who need to be altered. We will teach you what you need to know.  Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about these programs.

If you would like to make a monetary contribution, we have several ways available.  You can simply click or tap the Donate button for full details. If you can’t find that, our mailing address for checks or money orders is Milam Touch of Love, PO Box 543, Cameron, TX 76520. Please make checks payable to Milam Touch of Love. We also accept PayPal.  Our address for that is donations@milamtouchoflove.org. Click here if you wish to use a credit card.
