Milam Touch of Love is pleased to announce Dr. Brinlee will be holding a Wellness Day in Rockdale on Wednesday, April 3rd, from 1-5 pm at the Rockdale Animal Shelter, 290 Beverly Drive. This walk-in clinic offers office visit-type services — wellness exams, vaccinations, bloodwork, deworming, and more advanced exams appropriate for the problem presented. Some flea and heartworm treatments will be available on-site, and others will be available via the online pharmacy for delivery to your home. Services are listed in the image below. Dr. Brinlee now offers the rattlesnake vaccine for approximately $25 (a little less, I think).

Microchipping

In addition to Wellness Day, MTOL will be available to microchip your pet. This is free, but we appreciate a donation (suggested $10) so we can purchase more microchips.

  1. When will the next wellness day be for cats? My sister needs to have 2 spayed.

    1. She wants Barn Cat Day on the second Wednesday of each month. Registration has filled for April so she will need to look for May.

  2. Is this site just for people that reside in Milam county? I live in Shilo area Williamson and there is nothing available close that is affordable for spaying or wellness services needing my four year old spayed

    1. Vickie, we are primarily focused on Milam County. I checked the map and I suggest contacting our vet who is based in Hearne. He has very reasonable prices and will save you about an hour’s travel time. Brinlee Vet Services. (979) 255-8322

    2. The Shiloh I found was in Limestone County. If you’re close to Thorndale, you’re welcome to register for our Thorndale event next month — or any other event you choose. We’re not too firm on county lines yet.
