Milam Touch of Love is pleased to announce our next snip/chip clinic is on May 27th in Cameron at 502 N. Crockett Ave. This event is open to all Milam County residents for their dogs or cats. Please note that the Snip & Chip setup is not suitable for older dogs and cats (over 8 years of age) or dogs/cats with certain medical conditions. Because of this, we may not be able to schedule your pet for snip and chip, but we will recommend having the procedure performed in Dr. Brinlee’s office, where it will be safer for them. The following services will be performed:
* Spay or neuter (with injected pain medication & antibiotics)
* Rabies shot with certificate and tag
* Microchip with free registration and transfer
* CBC bloodwork
* Heartworm test (for dogs over 6 months of age)
The cost for the above package is “Pay What You Can.” Our cost for the above package is $167 for a female dog, $145 for a male dog, $130 for a female cat, and $100 for a male cat.
Other services are available for an additional charge. We have added the option to purchase Bravecto for $75 (this provides three months of flea and tick prevention coverage).
Special Notes: For residents INSIDE the city limits of Milano: Your dogs and cats will be spayed or neutered free of charge. We’ll check your address and should already know this, but if we miss it, please ask. This includes the basic spay/neuter package and wellness package items.
The Milam County Grant funds are exhausted, but we anticipate receiving 2026 funds soon (just not in time for this event). At the end of the registration form, we included an optional check box-driven total to help you calculate what you plan to “Pay What You Can” — uncheck items until the total equals what you anticipate paying on surgery day at drop-off. If this becomes too confusing, please ignore that section.

I mistyped the estimated DOB for one of our kittens we are bringing on the 27th 🤦🏻♀️
Can I register 2 female stray cats and one blind male cat for th e clinic on may 27th?
I do not have much money. I am on a social security and I am limited on what I can afford. I am worried that someone will harm these cat if I don’t get to e my sprayed and neutered. I have a female about to have kitten that I need to surrender to you. She is a stray but friendly. She will not be welcome here abd I don’t want a harm to come to her and her kittens. How do I register fir the clinic on the 27th? Please help.
Thank you

“Closed” in the title means registration is full, and you need to try again next month.
I need to cancel my spot for my dog on the 27th. Unfortunately something came up and I won’t be in town so you can give my spot to someone else who needs it if you can.
How many are available?
When does registration begin?
The number of available slots varies — it depends on what type of animals are registered each time. As for when registration begins, it’s long over for this event. Please check our schedule and make a note of when registration opens for the event you want to register for and be here at 6 am that morning to register.
