June 10, 2026, at 502 N. Crockett Ave in Cameron.

We have two options on Barn Cat Day — the traditional Barn Cat pricing at $61 per cat

For Barn Cat pricing — $61 for each cat, you get the following:

Spay/neuter (injected pain medication and antibiotics)

Rabies vaccination (no certificate or tag)

RVRCP vaccination

Ear Tip (required)

Please note: You will have no proof of rabies vaccination, and Dr. Brinlee will have no individual record of your cat being treated. This is important for legal considerations. But if you have a barn, stray, or feral cat you are feeding, this is the program to prevent reproduction and protect the cat from rabies.

The minimum age and weight are 8 weeks and 2 lbs. (12 weeks is ideal, because they are old enough for their rabies shot)

For Porch Cat pricing — $76 for each cat, you get the following:

Spay/neuter (injected pain medication and antibiotics)

Rabies vaccination (certificate and tag)

FVRCP vaccination

Ear Tip (required)

Microchip with registration and transfer

Please complete the form below to register. We ask you to limit registrations to 4 cats unless we’ve told you otherwise. We are back to the single cat registration form. I think the multi-cat worked well for you, but it was horrible for us on the back end.

Special Notes:

For residents inside the city limits of Milano: Your cats will be spayed or neutered at no charge to you. We’ll check your address and should already know this, but if we miss it, please ask. If you live on a county road, you are not inside city limits. If you live outside of city limits, you are not inside city limits.

The Thorndale City Grant has been exhausted for this fiscal year.

Milam County Grant. For Milam County residents not covered by the Milano program, we have added a check box to the form for you to request the Milam County Grant of $40 per animal be applied to you.

  1. I am feeding some ferrel cats and 2 to 4 of them need spayed.

  2. We have several cats we feed occasionally that recently had kittens. We ended up with almost 30 kittens. We need help getting these cats spayed.

    1. Okay. Either register them and bring them in for barn cat day or complete the TNR Assistance request form.

  3. I registered a barn cat but I need a momma and 4 kittens spayed/neutered, do I register them all separately? Also I’m not 💯 sure I will be able to trap them all so it might be just 1, 2 or 5, I’m just not sure. Is that ok?

    Thank you,

    1. Register them all individually. We understand some won’t show up, and we plan accordingly.

      1. Confirmations, beyond the one that appeared on the screen after you registered, are sent a day or two before the event with pre-op instructions and drop-off times.

    1. Hi, Griselda. Check our schedule and come back to register them when registration opens next month.
